TRANSFER STUDENTS

If you are a transfer student, please use the following steps for admission.

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 under "First Time Students"
2. If you expect to transfer credits from another college, request each institution of higher education to send a complete transcript to the Registrar, Admissions Office, TVBS & C, P.O. Box 445, Kennedale, TX 76060.
3. Upon receipt of the above information, you will be notified of your standing and given more information.

TRANSFER OF CREDIT POLICIES

It is the policy of TVBS & C to consider for transfer credits earned in a regular college or university or other college level institution. Courses which are not similar to the major of the student my be transferred as general electives, providing they meet all the Seminary transfer policies and can be of use to the student’s degree plan. ONLY those credits that carry a grade of at least "C", or its equivalent, can be considered for transfer.

TVBS & C requires that a certain portion of any degree be completed through the curriculum programs of TVBS & C and may not be fulfilled by transferred or experiential credits. The following requirements apply for those seeking a degree or certificate from the Seminary.

Certificate of Bible: All 10.5 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C.

Associate Degrees: The last 20 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C.

Bachelor Degrees: The last 40 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C.

Master Degrees: The last 24 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C. (Thesis included)

Doctoral Degrees: The last 48 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C (Dissertation included)

Doctor of Philosophy/ Doctor of Philosophy in Religion: The last 48 semester hours must be completed from TVBS & C (Dissertation included)
